769 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Synth Sample"

Originally made for the disquiet junto project 0433: "kit bits: create a kit’s worth of percussion samples. ". I used 1. Recordings with a telephone coil microphone recording sounds from an external blu ray drive and a smartphone (telephone coil recorded via behringer xenyx q1202 usb mixer, line-in) and 2. Random recordings from a soma ether device (recorded with zoom h1n, line-in). In these recordings i picked up those areas which i though to be useful for a drum kit, just as i would do it for myself. This track contains all samples in no special order in one file. All samples my own, released into cc0 public domain. Would be nice to hear if someone does something with it. August 2020, 44,1 khz, 16 bit, flac.

This sound is made using the op-x synthesis with some added reverb.

Here's another vocal sample of "reaction" ran thru audioterm into a waldorf blofeld as a wavetable. Scanning the position of the wavetable is done by the mod wheel so it's fun to play. Not a sampler, not a vocoder! this one is in d.

The deep, low octave sound effect popularised by eric serra for the goldeneye film score. It is available on the e-mu proteus 2 fx synth module under the patch "infinite". Alternatively, you can make a similar sound by sampling a woodblock/tambourine/cowbell and then pitching it down heavily (with added reverb).

Acid bass: 110 bpm c2 note, not your typical saw/square basslines. High sweeping filters in parallel sampled in ableton using massive, compression using psp compressor2 and psp warmer. Random presets, and very little other effects used, mostly so this sample can be re-sampled. 110 bpm so it can be pitched up which is usually better then having to pitch samples down. This is a simple sequence with chords - emaj, d#m and c#maj where i played on my midi keyboard "novation lanchkey mini" with using arturia vintage collection vst plugin - yamaha dx7, type - electronic organ and adding delay effect and reverberation. Sound like synth-wave or retro-wave stile, moderato, quietly and gently. Lounge. You can be using it for your needs, podcasts, samples, different projects, or just like alarm sound on your phone. Closed hh one-shot. These hi hats were all made with virtual drum synths and processed through some analogue console emulation and added saturation. They were then trimmed to get rid of any dead space before or after the sample and finally normalized to 0db. This file is part of my anu hihats pack.

A jumpscare/screamer sound that can be used for a horror game. I yelled into the mic, i then edited it with a few effects, then i added one of the snare samples built into the daw, then i added a synth (fake synth built in to the daw) and then heavily distorted it with a few more effects. My yelling was recorded with my phone's built-in mic and the daw i used was fl studio mobile (used cloud storage to transfer to my computer). I made this for my five nights at freddy's fangame.

This is a random synthesized click-sound followed by a reverb with 200 ms pre-delay. I used cubase roomworks and roomworks se for the reverb, synth 1 for the click and various plugins to master the samples a little. Still they sound pretty unprocessed so you can edit them to fit your needs.

Another free instrumental by anonymous producer mesostic. At a slow tempo, and with dissonant synthy chords, this is the perfect track for a hardline rapper to spit out some lines to. Or maybe it would make a great quirky soundtrack to your next homespun film project. The song was written in Ableton Live using Ableton core instruments and the U-He Diva soft synth on the lead line. This is just a simple four to the floor kick drum pattern at 120 bpm. I created the kick itself by layering various synth timbres in rob papen's albino plugin. Processing was also applied such as compression, eq and using subtle distortion in specific frequency areas to get it sounding like this. A synthetic bass multisample. I created it using the virsyn cube additive synthesizer (vsti). I applied some eq using the sonalksis sv-517 equalizer plugin. The sound was compressed by the sonalksis sv-315 and nomad factory blue tubes cp2s compressor plugins. All great quality plugs. The sound is a nice but rather static emulation of a bass guitar. Use your sampler's velocity and pitch bending options to bring this multisample to life. All samples in a 24 bit, 44. 1 khz resolution. Loop points were added for sustained notes.
